Panchang API & widget

The same drik computations that power KaalSetu, available for your own site or app. No key required, no sign-up — just keep the attribution link and be reasonable with request volume.

GET /api/public/panchang

Returns the full panchang for a date and location as JSON. CORS is open, so you can call it straight from the browser.

Query parameters

city
City slug, e.g. delhi, mumbai, varanasi. See /panchang for the full list.
lat, lng
Decimal coordinates. Overrides the city's coordinates when both are given.
tz
IANA timezone, e.g. Asia/Kolkata. Defaults to the city's zone.
date
YYYY-MM-DD. Defaults to today in the resolved timezone.

Responses are cached for 30 minutes. Errors return a JSON body with an error field and a 400 or 404 status.
